The ASP.Net C# Software Developer position will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing applications build by AAOS. This team member will assist with analysis, functional design, technical design, coding, testing, implementation and post-implementation to support a hybrid Agile delivery method.  Most of the current applications are built using the ASP.NET, MVC and SQL Server.

  • Utilizes a deep understanding of object-oriented design principles in designing and developing custom software solutions

  • Designs, documents, develops, deploys and maintains best in class transactional applications leveraging Microsoft technologies and design patterns

  • Develops and maintains technical and project documentation

  • Maintains the release management cycle and the application development environments

  • Implements application development best practices

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to elicit requirements and provide recommendations for platform improvements  


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field required; Relevant experience may be substituted when appropriate  


  • ASP.NET C#

  • MVC

  • Restful API (WebAPIs)

  • HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap

  • Angular, jQuery, Javascript


  • Azure DevOps with GIT flow


  • 3+ years of experience in software development using C# and ASP.NET

  • Demonstrated understanding of solution architecture and design patterns

  • Strong problem-solving skills and desire to learn new technologies

  • Prior experience related to solutions deployed on Microsoft Azure (or AWS) in a PaaS model

  • Experience implementing and maintaining REST APIs

  • Experience with one or more database platforms (MS SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)

  • Familiarity with Azure B2C Portal a plus

  • Experience with Azure DevOps development and deployment tools is a plus

  • Ability to work independently as well as be an integral part of a team

  • Health Care industry experience a plus

  • Experience with ASP.NET Core is a bonus
